Raleigh Fall & Halloween Events October 2019
Raleigh NC and surrounding communities have great Fall and Halloween Events in October. Whether you are looking for something to do in Wake or Johnston County, you are sure to find something that fits your lifestyle in community towns. Below is a list of just a few Fall Events that you and your family might enjoy.
- Oct 4th – Bands, Bites and Boats at Bond Park in Cary NC – Enjoy renting a boat and floating on bond lake while the Raleigh weather is cool or sit back and listen to local bands play.
- Oct 5th – Tacos ‘N Taps Festival at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Who does not like a beer and tequila festival that is all you can eat? With lots of food, drinks and live music, this event is great for an evening out or date night!
- Oct 5th Fuquay-Varina Festival 2019 – Downtown Fuquay is celebrating with family fun activities, chili cook-off and live entertainment!
- October 11th – Starts the PGA SAS Championship at Prestonwood County Club in Cary.
- Through October 13th Raleigh Parade of Homes – Looking for a new home? Check out some of the newest styles and home designs by touring the Annual Triangle Parade of Homes.
- Oct 12th – Beericana Craft Beer and Music Festival in Sugg Farm Park in Holly Springs has over 30 Raleigh brewers as well as national breweries showcasing their beer. There will be a lot music and food trucks!
- Oct 12th Pumpkin Festival Vendor Event – Clayton General Store – 10am – 5pm This is a fun Fall Kickoff Pumpkin event ???? for families. There will be Vendors setup at this event located at the Clayton General Store.
- Oct 12th – Skyfest – Johnston County Airport – 3149 Swift Creek Rd., Smithfield – 10am – 3pm Fun community festival with exciting aerial demonstrations. Multiple entertainment venues (music, performances, food trucks, displays, kid zone, and beer garden…something fun for everyone!
- Oct 17 – 27th 2019 N.C. State Fair – N.C. State Fair · Raleigh, North Carolina. It’s State Farm time again! Great fun for the family with thrilling rides/games/animals and family activities to enjoy! FOOD….deep fried delights and vendors.
- Oct 18th Coco Movie Night brought to us by Zaxby’s of Clayton – Free 6pm – 9:30pm. The featured movie will be “Coco”. Kids will enjoy this film and great timing since Halloween is just around the corner. There will be face-painting, balloon animals, a bouncy house, and games for the whole family.
- Oct 18 – 20th Fall Festival at Outlets – Clayton General store Smithfield, North Carolina. This Johnston County event is a 3 day outside event with Pumpkins, Mums, and Outdoor decorations for sale. Friday there will be Food Trucks & an Outdoor movie “Hocus Pocus” playing 7 – 9 pm.

- Oct 18th – 6th Annual Triangle Oktoberfest! – Booth Amphitheatre Cary, NC. Tickets are on sale at TriangleOktoberfest.org Authentic German Festival for friends and families. Bavarian Food and classic Polka music entertainment!
- Oct 20th – Trick or Eat Food Truck Rodeo – Sun 12 PM · Downtown Garner NC. Guaranteed to be great Family Fun with 15 Food Trucks, music, Craft Breweries, and local artists!
- Oct 27th – 4th Annual Pig and Pie Party – Sun 4 PM · Chickadee Farms Clayton, NC. This is a Farm to Fork event with pig picking with all the fixins. To make it even better there is pie contest! Featuring Triple R Farms pork, Carolina Grits, & Chickadee Farm Produce.
- Oct 30 – Nov 2nd 2019 Clayton Harvest Festival – 5 day Festival – Downtown Clayton NC. The Clayton Harvest Festival is jam packed with events (Carnival Rides, Games, Food Competitions, Vendors, Concerts, and great Food)! This is one of the largest festivals in Johnston County.
